As part of the Canadian Manufacturing Coalition, CHHMA members can participate in a Federal Budget debriefing call next Tuesday, March 19, to see how manufacturers are being impacted
Federal Budget 2019 Highlights Telebriefing
The Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) and the Canadian Manufacturing Coalition (CMC), which the CHHMA is a part of, are holding an exclusive, members-only telebriefing on what’s in the Federal Budget, and how it will impact manufacturers across the country immediately following the budget lock-up next Tuesday, March 19, 4:15 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
CME’s priorities for the budget and the government are outlined in their 2019 Budget Recommendations report, which can be downloaded from the link below.
The CMC is comprised of roughly 50 major industry groups, including the CHHMA as mentioned, united by a common vision for a world-class manufacturing sector in Canada. The coalition speaks with one voice on priority issues affecting manufacturers, and what must be done to ensure all Canadians continue to enjoy economic growth, high-value outputs and high-paying jobs. The member organizations represent roughly 100,000 companies and 1.8 million workers, coast to coast.
If you are interested in participating, please email Michael Jorgenson at firstname.lastname@example.org by end of the day Friday, March 15, for further details on how you can register.
