Networking Made Fun! May 29, 2019, 8:30 a.m. Start-time
We’ve got a plan to make your networking fun and useful!
CHHMA & COPA has turned our Annual Golf Tournament into a fun Industry Day with loads of activities for golfers and non-golfers!
Here’s what you can do at the upcoming May 29th Industry Day at Richmond Hill Country Club:
- Play tennis
- Join an aerobics class
- Get a massage or facial
- Get a manicure and pedicure
- Relax in the sauna and whirlpool
What to Expect:
Everyone will start their day with a hot breakfast after registration, followed by your choice of a fun game of golf or non-golfing activities at the Country Club.
Golfers will compete for a prize in a unique game of poker on the course. A $20 Passport (in support of the CHHMA & COPA Scholarship Funds) will provide access to two Hole-in-One and Closest to the Pin contests, a Landing on the Green prize, and a Beat the Pro contest. Golfers will also enjoy beer tasting out on the course, courtesy of our sponsor Triple Bogey! Not to worry, you won’t be tasting on a empty stomach: a BBQ lunch and generous supply of water will help keep you steady on your feet!
Those having fun off the course(spa option) will be shuttled over to the Country Club after breakfast to access a whole new world of exciting and rejuvenating activities. Perfect for small groups, you can still book a foursome with your clients and customers to make the most out of the day (no reason you can’t discuss a little business on the tennis court or between laps in the pool). Might we add, if you have colleagues or customers who don’t golf, this might just be up their alley! Options include: Manicure, Pedicure & 45 Minute Massage OR 30 Minute Facial; Access to the pool (indoor and outdoor if open;, walk on tennis; aerobics classes; spa locker room with sauna and whirlpool.
Once everyone has had their fill of fun, golfers and non-golfers will meet up again for a Mix-and-Mingle Cocktail Reception in the Clubhouse where you can catch up with those you missed during breakfast!
A $10 donation to Habitat for Humanity will be made for each CHHMA registrant at the event.
As always we have sponsorship opportunities. Here are some options still available:
$200 + HST
Sponsor a hole and your company name and logo will be on the sign at the designated hole. To add some fun, bring a prize (value of $100 minimum) and we will designate your hole a competition hole.
To add some more fun to the event, we are looking for 5 sponsors to facilitate a poker game. These sponsors will provide the tournament with enough of one item for each golfer (144) (hair dryers, caulking gun, small electronic, etc.). At registration and 4 designated holes, each player will receive the prize you have donated and be able to draw a card. Once back at the course, we will determine our best poker hand to give the winner a prize.
As always there will be a silent auction. The silent auction is a big portion of the funds raised for our respective Scholarship Funds. Your donations are always appreciated. If you can donate please contact Pam Winter at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please advise what you will be donating, the retail value and when delivery will be. Items that are always successful are: Small appliances, electronics, sports tickets, experiences.
It promises to be a great day and time well spent. We hope you and your colleagues and customers can join us!
