Call Out to HR Managers to Join Us on March 21st
The CHHMA-COPA HR Group is meeting next on March 21st and new members are welcome to come out to check out the meeting which will include a guest speaker on employee training courses.
The CHHMA-COPA HR Group is meeting next on the morning of Thursday, March 21, 2019, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Centre for Health & Safety Innovation (CHSI), 5110 Creekbank Rd., Mississauga, ON L4W 0A1, and we are inviting new members to come out and attend the meeting.
The HR Group meets four times a year to discuss HR issues, new legislation impacting employees and the workplace and best practices. The cost for four meetings is $350 + HST but anyone from a CHHMA or COPA company can come out and attend an initial meeting at no charge.
At some of the meetings we will have a HR and/or legal expert review new government legislation. Also, we will have other guest speakers to present on a topic that HR personnel would be interested in.
At the March 21st meeting, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Malak Sedra, from e-SKY Solutions (www.e-sky.ca) will be on hand to talk about the benefits of online education & training courses for employees.

About the Speaker – Malak Sedra Eng. PMP. MBA
Malak is the Founder and CEO of e-SKY solutions. He founded the company in 2012, with the goal to facilitated learning in a hyper mobile society, based on social learning theory. He has been in the consulting and services industry for over 10 years. He is also involved at a community level, serving as a director on the board of the Quebec Chapter of the Salvation Army. Malak has also established “Aide Aux Devoirs” in 2001, a help with homework tutoring service to support the youth of the west-island of Montreal. Malak is a key note speaker on the topics of how we can serve; leadership; learning and development. Malak is a strategic, self-driven and innovative leader with over 20 years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, system engineering design, service engineering, on-site support within an engineering and unionized environment; including 15 years of combined experience in sales, business development, account management and program management within the aerospace industry.
